What is WPC?  

WPC refers to Wireless Planning and Coordination. It is the National Radio Regulatory Authority as well as a division of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), which was established in 1985 under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

What is WPC certification? 

To sell, make, and import wireless equipment, the manufacturer must receive certification from WPC. Therefore, WPC certification is required to sell or manufacture wireless equipment; otherwise, you won't be allowed to sell products in the Indian market.

Who can Apply for WPC License?

Manufacturers and importers of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi-enabled items must get WPC certification and an Import License Certificate before selling their products in the Indian market.
